This game theme was based off a rap mogul trying to make his way from the bottom to the top of the industry. I had to come up with a creative idea of how to showcase this and use real life scenarios to do so. The screens in the FE would represent that by starting out as low tier looking computer systems, neighborhoods, shops etc. Even your computer that you use would be old looking until you got to a certain status and then you got a new laptop. It was interesting making the screens from scratch,such as all the electronic pieces and cityscapes. The Main Menu was completely put together by me from a series of building pictures to form a cityscape. We then took these individual pieces and put them into groups, which the engineers would then dynamically tag and any music you played would make the buildings shake and move to the beat. We called it buildings with base! It was fun making the flash screens for this game b/c we tried a new approach of screen sets, where we would load a sequence of screens in 1 flash file to get the side scroll effect we wanted. From the city, to the computer desktops, to the individual stores, this game was a huge undertaking, but I can honestly say that everyday was an adventure and I looked forward to what I was going to create that day!
